Dag Teigland

Dag Teigland

Chief Executive Officer

Dag Teigland was appointed chief executive officer of Elkem ASA, effective 3 August 2026.

He brings more than two decades of industrial and investment experience to Elkem, including prior experience from the company. From 1998 to 2002, he held several leadership roles in Elkem, most recently as managing director of the Chrome business area.

Teigland serves as executive chair of Tekna Holding, a publicly listed provider of advanced, high-performance metal powders for industrial applications. He has also held senior executive positions at Tinfos AS and Holta Invest AS.

Teigland holds an MBA from IESE Business School, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University. He has also completed executive education programmes at Harvard Business School and Yale School of Management.
